    The Challenge

    Many organizations face challenges that demand shifts in strategic direction, structural and cultural change. Moving to new organizational forms and missions often requires expanding and, in some cases, redefining the identity, values, boundaries and shape of the enterprise. A large commitment of time, talent and resources is required to undertake major changes. There is a tendency for organizations to push faster, to spend less and to stop earlier than the change process requires. But change will not "stick" and provide enough good will for the future unless and until the recipients of change come on board.
